“Hi my name is xxxx, On the 27th November 2021 I am taking part in the first ever Annual Sponsored Pub Trail in support of REACH North West a local community group that supports autistic children and their families .

I will be walking 5 miles, visiting 5 Pubs to help raise £5K for REACH North West. Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our autism community

In times of crisis those who are most at risk of falling through the cracks and being left behind are the most vulnerable members of our society.

During this stressful and unpredictable time a key focus is to stand by the families we support and continue to provide an autism-specific support system for our families.

We are currently being overwhelmed by the number of families facing extreme hardship, through no fault of their own, and we will continue to find ways through tough times to provide support.

Our response to Coronavirus

To respond we’ve set up a Coronavirus Crisis Fund so we can reach and respond to the overwhelming needs of more families:

  • Our new ‘In house outreach Crisis service’ so we can continue to support children and their family on a one to one basis in their own home.
  • Assisting families through our Outreach service with Positive behaviour support at home. Changes in behaviour are often the way people on the autism spectrum communicate their feelings in times of extreme stress.
  • Buying iPads with 4G connectivity and smash proof screens for vulnerable students without access to the internet at home so they can attend school online (This can only be done withyour funding and will be purchased each time an iPad donationis made)
  • Buying sensory equipment such as home gyms to support sensory needs for children who cannot access school through this daunting time, again these will be purchased each time a Sensory resourcedonation is made)

Please help us keep families as stable as possible to ensure no-one is left behind. Your donation today will go to where it's needed most.
