In today’s world many of us need support with anxiety, many of us suffer on a daily basis, some less often, but, all of us can maybe relate to that feeling of stress and panic.
Anxiety affects us as adults & children, those with or without a diagnosis, it is not picky, it can affect the strongest of us!
Many of us have stressful lives, whether that’s through work, parenting, health, juggling a hectic lifestyle or as parents of children with disabilities, we hope that this workshop will introduce general strategies and techniques you can use for yourself or your loved ones.
We aim for this workshop to be interactive so, as well as learning some of the theory behind ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and how these relate to anxious situations and anxious behaviours in everyday life; we will provide opportunities to practice using some activities to cope with anxiety.
If you or a family member have suffered with anxiety or if you have a child with needs that may need support then please book on today.
We look forward to seeing you - if you would like a free tea or coffee before we start please join us for registeration at 9.45am - the workshop will start at 10am
