Trish Brady BA (Hons), Msc ABA
I began working as an ABA therapist in 2002 whilst completing my Psychology and Sociology degree at the University of Bradford, after graduating I began working in the field of ABA as a therapist – specifically working with children with ASC.
I immediately fell in love with the job seeing first hand the progress children can make through ABA, teaching functional communication, social skills, academics, life skills and breaking down barriers, the positive impact ABA has on family’s lives has been truly inspiring!
I have worked as an ABA supervisor since 2011 with a diverse range of children aged 2 – 18 years, across a variety of settings. I am also trained in using Makaton Sign Language, PECs and I am a Talk Tools level 2 therapist. I completed my MSC in ABA at the Tizard Centre at the University of Kent in the summer of 2016 with a focus on Positive Behaviour Support. I am currently working with various BCBA’s, accruing supervision hours towards sitting the BCBA exam to become a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst.
During my time as a therapist I have worked alongside some of the biggest providers of ABA in the UK and am proud to be one of the ABA supervisors at 'Reach North West' (formally ASUK) and outside of reach I work as an ABA supervisor, I am also a committee member for 'Reach North West'.
I am again super excited to meet new families and children at Reach NW, an exciting new relaunch providing families with the support they need to ensure their children reach their full potential
