Hi I am Rob, I am Student Psychologist studying towards a BSc Hons Degree in Psychology. I have over seven years’ experience working with children and young adults who have ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), mental health, emotional difficulties, challenging behaviours and learning difficulties.
Both my brothers in law have learning difficulties and ASC and I have been a respite carer for them, helping with all aspects of their lives. For the last four years I have also been a foster parent. Supporting young people with personal development, challenging behaviours and mental health issues.
For the last four years I have been working in the field of ABA as a therapist implementing programs, helping to changes the lives of many children at Reach and in schools and on ABA home programmes. I currently manage Reach North West’s after school club, encouraging and developing social communication through Lego Based Therapy. Being a big kid at heart, this is the perfect environment for me to be involved in.
